I Find My Only Self Worth In Music. #1

Hey party people, and welcome to the first installment of IFMOSWIM. The only blog where you see a 19 year old slowly fall into the endless void of misery because his major is useless, and his passion is over-saturated.

It was November 4th, 2022. It was a late night, and I was "vibin' with the bois" on discord. I had gone through a break-up a little bit prior to this, and was "straight up not having a good time." I had been making music with my church friends for a little bit before this, but as I slowly drifted away from the church, the music stopped coming. My long time friend Malcolm was also making music at the time. We had made a song together beforehand, but we didn't plan to make anything about it.

But this night, he had made a beat, and was showing it to all of us. As the stars aligned, and I was having a good time, I had an idea. We made a song called Break Dancing and Entering. This would send us on (what is now) a year and a half spiral of making whatever music we felt like.

MiniSkrrt is mine and Malcolm's creative outlet. For me personally it does a lot for my mental health, as it's a way for me to let out whatever emotions I'm feeling. Every song is fun to make, and we make whatever we think is funny or good. Most of our songs are joke songs, but every once in a while, we'll make something pretty good. We have evolved a lot as artists. We're now almost at our 4th album, and we don't have any plans of stopping any time soon.
